Brian Faehse was an Australian rules footballer in the South Australian Football League.

The great Fos Williams, who played alongside Brian Faehse at West Adelaide, and against him with Port Adelaide, paid him the ultimate compliment when he said "I've never met a better team mate or a more ferocious and determined opponent". Throughout his career, Faehse's name was synonymous with courage, commitment and club loyalty. He made his league debut with the wartime West Adelaide-Glenelg combination in 1944, and when he retired thirteen seasons later it was with a then West Adelaide club record 222 senior games under his belt. After playing his early football in ruck he developed into possibly the state's best centre half back, in which position he starred in the winning grand final team against Norwood in 1947, as well as in 19 interstate games for South Australia. Winner of the club's best and fairest award in 1950 and 1951 he was Westies' captain for his last six seasons in league football.
